Jean-Marie is founder of TAS Forensics and Managing Director at EconOne Research Inc., leads the International Arbitration Group, and is an international expert in Financial Investigations – Economic Damages and Valuations.

Dr. Van der Elst has extensive international financial management, treasury and corporate management experience.

Jean-Marie has provided international arbitration/mediation services and expert testimony on commercial, financial, economic and socio-economic matters in international arbitration tribunals (ICC, ICSID, CPA).

His extensive industry experience as an international CEO, CFO includes the automotive, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, FMCG industries in Europe, South & Central America, Africa, USA, Russia and Eastern Europe.

His extensive industry experience as an international Country Manager and CFO includes industrial, pharmaceutical, machine production and distribution, in Europe, South and Central America, the United States, Russia and Eastern Europe.

Rafael is Partner at TAS Forensics and Director at EconOne in the International Arbitration Group, based in Madrid, Spain. 

Rafael specializes in economic and financial evaluation of the environmental and socioeconomic impact of infrastructure projects, as well as sustainable programs for the integration of technology and business processes.

Rafael has a track record of managing multidisciplinary programs with internationally distributed teams. This includes leading expert teams, advisory and expert witness roles in international arbitration tribunals.

Previous roles and areas of expertise within the information technology domain include leading consulting practices (Professional services) for international service providers (telecommunications, enterprise system suppliers) and integrators, program management, and corporate process technology integration architecture.

Areas of technical expertise:
  • Distributed and cloud computing,
  • Blockchain architecture, service technology integration (specifically corporate M&A scenarios), and
  • Corporate IT strategic planning.

Biography

Anton is a Data Analytics Consultant at TAS Forensics and Director with EconOne’s International Arbitration Group, based in Cape Town, South Africa. 

Anton has over 15 years of experience as an expert in litigation support and analytical services and has provided expert services in the fields of Quantum Analysis, Damages Calculations, Financial Analysis, Competition Analysis, Contract Disputes, Engineering Construction Projects, Copyright Infringement, Forensic Investigations and Commercial Arbitrations. 

He has extensive experience in authoring expert reports and testifying on same.  

He is also a competent programmer and writes his own code for challenging analytical investigations.

Prior to founding his own litigation support company, he undertook projects involving large scale digitizing of primary source legal data in several counties around the world, data and was contracted as International Design Engineer concentrating on UK, North Sea, and Saudi Arabia oil industries.
